The Fashion and Decor Oliohop Recap

Fashion has always been an outlet to showcase your personal style. In this oliohop we’re bringing your fashion sense home. Yesterday, Olioboard collaborated with these 10 amazing bloggers who shared tips and tricks on how to mix fashion and decor to create a space that’s 100% YOU! Here’s the follow up to the Fashion and Decor Oliohop.

Erin Hiemstra from Apartment 34
We’re loving Erin’s use of pink, orange and metallics as accent colours combined with a neutral brackground of solid black and white blocks.
We couldn’t agree with Erin’s choice of words more; urban, confident, strong. Who wouldn’t want her closet or her home to make her feel like that! To view the full post click here

Marilyn G Russell from Design Magnifique
Marilyn’s Dapper Dan Living Room won us over. Love the masculine pinstripe sofa with the sleek metal frame and the punchy teal and orange color scheme. Marilyn proves that masculine can be bold and colorful too! To view the full post click here

Jane Gianarelli from Embrace Your Inner Snob Blog
We love how Jane combines the old and new using vintage, flea market finds and antiques. By blending these pieces with new or custom finds, Jane is able to bring the decades together in a single beautiful space. If you are a fan of timeless design, check out Jane’s full post here.

Cori Magee from EuroStyleLighting Blog
For the Chic and Modern lovers out there, Cori’s Dining room design has you covered. Black and Metallic mixes are right on trend for fall and this dining space integrates this bold fashion trend beautifully into the home. View the full post here.

Lynda Quintero-Davids from Focal Point Blog
Be still my heart. Go bold or go home with Lynda’s floral and stripe design. This design is not for the faint of heart. It screams LOOK AT ME. Love the sofa and those floral and gold shoes. So much color and fun in one design. WOW! See all of Lynda’s designs here.

Lesley Myrick from Lamps Plus Blog
Lesley’s clean design and simple color palette creates a luxurious and calming bedroom design. The metallic accents add a touch of glam to this beautiful design. See Lesley’s full post here.

Frankie Durbin from Life in a Venti Cup
Metallics seem to be the hot trend in this blog hop. We love the combination of metallics in Frankie’s design but we love what she says even more. In Frankie’s own words: “This room has such an abundance of femininity that it is almost literally dripping from the wall. This is somehow incredibly powerful yet quietly reserved at the same time. It’s an interesting mix of bold and delicate, organic and modern. I love it.” Need we say anymore. View the full post here.

Julia Buckingham Edelmann from Material Girls Blog
Julia brings us the Plaid Fad and shows us that plaid is no longer just for our great-grandmother’s pillows or lodge decor. Bold and contemporary plaid pieces in a variety of colors are a fashion statement for both wardrobe and decor. Check out Julia’s full post for more on plaid and other trends.

Robin Maria Pedrero from Pocket Full of Colors
We love seeing Robin’s artwork take center stage in her Olioboard designs. By taking inspiration from the fashion image, she uses neutral backdrops to allow her artwork to pop off the walls and draw in the eye. A few well placed colorful accents help tie the space together nicely. See the full post here.

Selma Hammer from Selma Hammer Designs
Black and gold are hot, hot, hot right now and we are loving how Selma pulled elements of this gorgeous black and gold mini dress into her living room design. The geometric shapes, gold accents and the Sophia Table from Layla Grayce are great additions to the space. Beautiful design Selma!
